Indian Ridge is a large non-gated community with around 500 homes and is also zoned for short term rentals. Indian Ridge was one of the first communities to be built in this area in the late 80’s but the building continued up until the late 90’s. In the 80’s Indian Ridge community was considered too far away from everything, today it’s one of the closest communities to Walt Disney World with it only being 4.5 miles from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Some of the lots are extra large compared to today’s standard and prices start in the low to mid 200’s. There are miles of walking trails in Indian Ridge and 2 large parks in the community. Over 20% of the community is dedicated to parkland. The community also has a community pool, tennis courts, and a large children’s playground. Another attraction for Indian Ridge is that you have a wonderful community with an hoa fee of $70 per year!
