Sandy ridge is quite a large community located close to Reunion Resort on Old Lake Wilson Road in Davenport. The community was built mainly as a vacation home resort, all the homes come with pools and either a single or two-car garage. Over the years Sandy Ridge has seen more full-time residents. The location of Sandy Ridge is great, only 11 miles from Walt Disney World and 5 miles from the Poinciana South Sunrail Station. Sandy Ridge is not a gated community but it does have security patrol included in the HOA fees. There is a children’s playground located off of the main street in the community and plenty of ponds and conservation areas in the community. Homes are reasonable and start in the 200’s.
